Based just outside the heart of Norwich, in the Golden Triangle area of Earlham, the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Art sits proudly at the centre of Earlham Park as a focal point for both academics and the public. Boasting both serene views of the park outside and the art hosted in the venue, the Modern Life Café is a unique and striking venue for a variety of events.

The Modern Life Cafe is our dedicated restaurant serving a choice of delicious, freshly prepared food and drink with a strong emphasis on local and seasonal produce. A diverse selection of hot meals for adults and children and full range of hot and cold drinks will be available.

Our hospitality offerings have been designed to meet a variety of formal and informal occasions, from a business meeting to celebratory drinks reception, and to suit a diverse range of food preferences. We are able to offer most events from wakes and wedding receptions to corporate lunches and large evening dinners.
