Gold Award for Green Meetings

Roehampton Venues are delighted to have received a Gold Award for Green Meetings from the Green Tourism association. Green Tourism promotes greener ways for businesses and organisations to operate, as the importance of sustainability issues takes precedence as the “new normal” gaining this affiliation was key in moving forward our sustainability strategy and action plans.

Sustainability remains a priority across the hospitality industry and important to corporate event organisers. Our team will continue to have conversations with our own clients on how to keep events more sustainable, as well as recognising that we have an environmental and social responsibility, for the physical environment and for the people and communities with whom we work.

We were delighted that the team at Green Tourism highlighted our excellent knowledge and awareness of all aspects of sustainability. Throughout our application the key thread was to support our staff and customers health and wellbeing, with our main commitment to make sure all our venues are welcoming and accessible to all.

Roehampton Venues are committed to making a positive environmental impact and contributing to a sustainable future through the delivery of sustainable events. We are aware this is the start of our journey but we look forward to our ongoing action plans with the support of Green Tourism
